So imo I think the mets need a solid 3rd starter and two more bats in their line up

What do yall think are their biggest holes/weaknesses team wise that they need to address during free agency?

I wanted them to bring Stro back but now that that ship is sailed I’m not sure. They could sign Rodon or maybe trade for an arm but with DH being universal they have a lot more weapons on that bench.

I really want them to get Bryant for third and as another big bat in the lineup. But tbh I think this lineup is better than they performed last year. We’ve seen pretty much all of these guys hit well at one point. It’s about being consistent.

But they def need another arm, last year showed up how important it is for depth in a starting rotation. I think we’ll see Megil make some stride this year and hopefully Peterson bounces back but I would only want to see these guys as sport starters or getting bullpen work.

I would’ve liked another bay but I feel like they are banking on Cano to come back and hit. I was really against him being in the lineup before this offseason but honestly if he can still hit and produces I won’t be mad.
