    always?

Only time it failed was with Fizdale, but he’s the worst coach in NBA history

I’m telling you go back every year before January we were in playoff contention then we end up with the 8th pick

We’ve made like 15 threes combined the past two games. But getting burks back and giving quickley more burn should help alleviate that

Gotta give Thibs credit. I didn't care for him as a coach when we first got him. Finally have a team that looks competent on the floor. It's good too see. So glad Leon Rose is killing off Dolan's bad energy

People talking playoffs/play-in mad early and they need to relax but it's easy to believe the Knicks will be a competitive team throughout this season. We look pretty good even with our roster stacking up injuries so it's safe to assume we'll improve further once we get some guys back.

I'm not gonna say we're a safe bet for the post season, but I don't see us completely falling off during the regular season as we normally have in past seasons. If we do it'd probably be a result of injuries to our more important players, or if Leon decides to pull the trigger on a Randle trade at the deadline and we go into "Fade for Cade" mode. We'll have to see, because Thibs isn't a guy who enjoys losing if there's something he can do to stop/prevent it.

There’s definitely room for optimism and people should rightly be excited.
We got some guys who are use to competing and it’s rubbing off

Honestly a lot of times we say s*** like that it's us trying to manifest it into existence tbh. At least that's how I feel. I think we have a shot at the 8th seed but it's definitely too early to come to conclusions rn

Would be awesome to see Randle make the all star game.

    Hope he keeps it up.

I'll say in regards to how the eastern conference is, making the play-in doesn't seem like that much of a stretch. Looking at the current standings we're in 5th place...and that just feels weird saying lmao but that's just how it goes in the first month or two of the season.

By late February the eight seeds will likely look something like:

    1. Celtics
    2. Sixers
    3. Nets
    4. Bucks
    5. Heat
    6. Pacers
    7. Hawks
    8. ???

Normally the Raptors are a top eight team in the east but right now...they look crazy bruh ion know what's going on. I didn't think Gasol and Ibaka leaving would leave them at such a disadvantage. Would've thought Siakam would keep it up but he's been falling tf off. I'd also put the Magic in there, but seeing as they just lost Fultz I don't see them keeping the momentum to be in there this year. So I'm gonna put the Hawks in at the 7th seed.

I guess in theory we could make it as an 8th seed, it's just personally I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump out the window and start riding the playoff hype train just yet. But I certainly believe that the play-in seeds are very realistic.

Bulls vs Knicks in the play-in bouta be THE game to watch.

They're doing the play in this year? How is it going to work? Just 8th vs 9th to get the 8th seed?

They expanded the play-in to the 10th seed this year, so that's why I think the Knicks making it in that position isn't that crazy to say. Also I believe if you make the play-in but are in the 10th seed you still have access to the lottery, but don't quote me on that, because I've also heard the opposite.

I would hope 9th and 10th seed teams still get access to the lottery because play-in teams are still at a massive disadvantage as they gotta play their asses off just to make the playoffs, and then it's a non-stop uphill battle from there. It's pretty much the same situation the Trailblazers were in last year. Sure they made it to the playoffs, but by that time they were pretty much out of gas and they used every last bit in game one against the Lakers and then got bounced.

Dude saying Kyrie is taking a personal day for his mental health...without telling any of his coaches or teammates, and they were up against 7-1 (Now 7-2) team?

    Nigga how?

Kyrie the ultimate role model gotta love it. if he wasn't as talented as he is, he'd be out of the league so fast

They gotta win a championship this year for all the bullshit they gotta put up with him and KD.

That's the only way this is worth it.
