John Wall's injury history is definitely something to worry about. Along with his off court gang activities. However, if he actually manages to make it through a season uninjured, imagine the development of RJ, Mitch, and Obi with an all-star playmaker like him? John Wall is good, but definitely don't expect him to carry this team to an 8th seed spot. We'll still be pretty safe bets to make the lottery so we can keep playing that game. He shoots much better and is a way better playmaker than anyone we got.

The contract does suck ass, but if we make him work well, we can just dump the guys we have as guards, as we'll hopefully be drafting a top PG prospect next year. And maybe, just maybe, we can attract another notable player to join next year in FA as by that time we'll have ourselves a competent squad and the one years will be gone.

The trade kicker sucks ass, and this is similar to the Westbrook situation we were in, however, Wall suits our needs way more than Russ did, and there's a high chance two firsts will come with him. More than what we would've gotten from the Rockets. We don't have to go through with the trade, however there's more positive that comes with it than negative. Just my perspective on it.
