Honestly the Knicks signing Melo at this current juncture actually makes sense. We have like 3 or 4 empty spots on our roster (possibly more if we do end up trading Randle, Knox, Frank, and/or DSJ) and will probably be looking to add a few one year rentals for the low to fill space after we sign a FA or two who are actually solid and might be around for a few years. Why not get a vet who's actually good, provides shooting, would be an excellent mentor to RJ as their playstyles are identical, and is a fan favorite?
