Looks like he's putting in work to me
This gonna make him not dribble the ball up the court or stop running ISO plays?

He don't call the plays
Well it was nice knowing Grimes and IQ
I dead think ju can bounce back all jokes aside
I think he can too. But he can bounce back on another team
How will a Brunson and Mitchell midget hoops backcourt work out defensively
They gonna have to make it work! In all seriousness though, Mitchell can be a decent defender. He was a decent defender his first two seasons in the league. He put that 6'10 wingspan to good use around the perimeter and he'd actually try. Jazz had him take on more offensive responsibilities however and inevitably he put defense on the back burner, leaving that up to Gobert and other teammates. Jazz still remained one of the better regular season western conference teams, and they did put out an undersized backcourt.
With the exception of one season (13th out of 30), in the years Mitchell has been paired up with another small guard on the Jazz, they have held onto a top 10 spot in the NBA in regards to defensive rating. Maybe that speaks more to just how great Gobert is on defense in the regular season, but the fact that they were second in the league twice in defensive rating, then fourth, then 9th even with a small backcourt does show that a team's defense can still be alright with an undersized backcourt
I’m hearing 6 FRPs and I’m legit scoffing at the idea of that
I know the Gobert trade and all but a fleecing should not be the standard we judge by

If we only trading Randle/Fournier and half those picks are protected

They can keep him. Justin Zanik is crazy.
Minnesota didn't even pay that much of a price for Rudy. If there's a way to save Quick, RJ, Obi and Cam, I'd give up 5 picks (2 unprotected 2 swaps), D Rose, and Evan Fournier. But that's it.

I've wanted Donovan for years now but nah hold off if this is what they want, this move would leave us on the treadmill. We will be one of the top teams in terms of trade value for years, don't waste it until we ready to go for a chip
Yall can not be this attached to them young players like that. We’d be forced to pay them in a couple years, wouldnt be feasible to keep em all
you gotta make this move, especially if u can still hold on to your picks after 2025
ainge is jokes, this was expected to be their starting offer
expect to meet in the middle of this and what leon rose wants
