Ik Frank got burnt on last play but honestly he should start over Payton if all he's gonna play is 10 mins. If we insist on having D Rose/IQ/Burks on the bench then why not put Frank out to guard trae and actually have him be able to get into the flow of the game rather than just throw him out there with 10 secs left. Both Frank and Elfrid give you barely anything on offense, least Frank will just stay out the way and be able to (hopefully) knock down some wide open threes. Let Randle and Barrett run the show with the first unit, then bring out the bench guys like always. I really think Frank could give you more than what Elfrid is with the current rotation.

This 100%. I totally get why Thibs wants Rose, IQ and Burks as offensive firepower off the bench but we can't have Payton opening anymore. If Frank can just get Trae cold to start the game before we sub in our killer bench he's done more than enough
