Jan 27·1 replyIf you actually read the letter, it’s more about his mental illness than apologizing for his perspective. He does apologize for offending and being inflammatory. So I think the media headlines are misleading. I think it’s important to point that out.

He‘s indirectly apologizing for his perspective in the way he realized that a lot of them came into his head when he was manic.
You don‘t need to accept anything in this letter (he also said this) but it‘s incredible how many people on Twitter didn‘t read the whole thing and are saying „I‘m mentally ill too. I never did stuff like this“… yeah… every case is different. I know people with bpd who also loved Hitler out of nowhere lol.

People are literally killing people cause of mental illnesses. That’s what Dave Chappelle was also saying, people do much crazier stuff when mentally ill, in a grander scheme this is nothing.
I am rooting so much for Kanye and for his well-being, idec about music anymore, just want the guy to find peace, so happy to read this letter.

For sure but I just didn't listen to him for a while, had no desire to sadly, wasn't trying to boycott or anything.
The statement made me tear up a bit, got mad love for him so I just hope he gets to where he needs to be.
