I bought my first record before I had a player. Even if I had never been able to play it, just the idea of holding a physical manifestation of my favorite songs was enticing to a music nerd. plus a 12-13” copy of the album cover printed in full color on cardboard, the back cover, and potentially a gatefold or insert with credits and/or lyrics. It’s exciting. although buying that first record turned out to be a gateway into spending a whole lot of money on a sound set up and a s*** ton of other records..

But in terms of Frank’s records.. I mean all of his are going for hundreds now, it’s smart to buy those when they’re cheap even if you hate his music. Those things appreciate in value like a motherfucker
