So it looks like they are writing the book first and then will adapt that into a screenplay
Sounds similar to what Tarantino did with Hollywood. I believe he first started writing it as a novel and then turned it into a screenplay later. I’m guessing doing a novel first helps explore the characters and themes deeper being you can be a lot more detailed with it. Hopefully Johnson is right for the job
