I get the want to big up Rory/Mal in light of things, but let’s not act like Joe wasn’t getting talent on the phone out of the blue for JBP episodes alone.

The very concept of getting talent to pull up and kick it is dope, and good for them for having to come out the gate this way, but they’re not reinventing the wheel here.

That being said, the JBP has also grown a bit less appealing in recent episodes. Not sure whether it’s the split or the fact that it’s been more obvious that Joe relishes in cutting everyone off so that he alone can speak.
