What I got wrong
Canucks - team no one really expected to be good this year but maybe should have with a vezina-calibre goaltender. Needed a delorean to see the JT Miller revival though
Devils - team no one really expected to be bad this year but maybe should have expected struggles with a tandem of smoke and mirrors. Was last year another 2017-18 fluke? Are you gonna trade for PK Subban again?
Jets - I made this before they extended Hellebuyck and Scheifele and made an addendum putting them over LA after that, so only a half-strike to me(tacking on a "penguins over lightning" on the post was a full one)
Sabres - Just because you've been bad for a long time doesn't mean you're due for anything. Or did I just buy too much Devon Levi stock? Regardless, f*** the Pegulas
Wild - F*** John Hynes. Is this really worse than being a perennial first round exit? Pray to God they do something good when they get the Parise and Suter buyouts knifed in their cap guts removed
Kraken - basically the devils with a little more netminding substance and less of a "point and laugh" feeling looking at them. You can develop Shane Wright any day now, boys
Preds - I was pounding the table before the season that Saros was the best goaltender in the league, I was pounding it that his s***ty play earlier in the year was just a test of faith, and now that he's back in form the catfish will fly again
Flames: Thought getting rid of Sutter would "fix" them. I forgot they were underachieving sacks of s*** even with Tkachuk and Gaudreau. At least you sold some more I guess
