Been holding back playing this so itās not overplayed when the album drops. These singles months before an album annoying
I think this would of been bigger than Gods Plan if it was released in the same climate

Agreed! This is one of Drakeās best ever album singles imo. Triumphant and nostalgic at the same time

Mannn this song is so timeless... woke up this morning and this the first song I wanted to hear in 2021 š„ really hope this makes the CLB tracklist.
A lot of people think Drake confirmed the rumor of 40 pillow talking in his second verse but I feel like he contradicts that by calling Kanye and Pusha T liars at the beginning of it. What do you guys think?
I think the song represents the tale good music was telling and Drakeās escape from the controversy. We hear this very clearly in the last couple lines of Drakeās final verse. When he goes over the pillow talk situation and then ends with, āitās hard to believe itā. In other words, heās saying āthat story doesnāt add upā.
Damn, baby
Damn, baby
I know that they at the crib goin' crazy, down bad
What they had didn't last, damn, baby

You'll probably find CLB there
This song has so much more substance now with what Kanye is going through.
Thatās what he get
G-Ry was on a podcast and talked about how the record got made. Him and RogƩt made the beat during the Hit-Boy sessions for Big Sean's album. Everyone was telling him that it sounded hard, but he still wasn't sure about it bc he thought it was weird where the beat drops. Sean said he was going to write to it. G-Ry forgot about the beat.
He remembered it when Drake posted that story with him in the studio saying 80%. He sent it to Noel, and Noel responded around midnight asking for the files.
A week or two before the record dropped Cardo asked him for his lawyer info. He still didn't know about lncl. A day before the song dropped, Drake sent him the video and said it's his single.
He also shouted out Cardo and Yung Exclusive for taking the record to the next level.
