One of the great “step up to the plate moments” in recent memory.

If you're listening to the song for the first time, that's the last place you'd expect his verse to begin. I also love how Drake comes in after him and ends the verse before going in for a third verse.

We aren't talking about how unique the song structure of the song is.

I completely agree. It stands up there with a lot of his great songs because of the structure but also the pockets he (and Durk...what is that incredible moment in the middle of his verse where he just whines in amazement at his own rapping) finds in the beat, and the surprising ways he decide to attack it.

Speaking of the beat, I’m so happy he finally found a worthy album cut successor to trophies.

I’ve loved a lot of his songs this year and there were plenty of all time moments on dark lane, but this might be the best song he’s released this year.

This album is gonna be something else.

I am trying to to not play this too much before the album is out, so that it is still fresh like the rest of the album.
By the time Scorpion came out, God's Plan was kinda played out for me so I often skipped it.

I hope the album comes out next week or not much later, so I can enjoy the song without it being overplayed

This is better than nonstop in terms of its value as a single
