The fantano review did a good job of putting names to sounds I’m not familiar with

I don’t support waited with bated breath for reviewers, but you can take something from them sometimes

Dudes discog is insane, for me personally

PC is about a 6, MTI is around a 9, OA is at least as good, and this is at least a 8. Hard to rank the Third Sides but the highs from those are some of the best instrumental tracks of the millennium

Just going off replay value
OA has some amazing tracks but some of the other tracks are almost unlistenable
MTI is great but I just don’t return to it like that

Volcanic bird is super replayable front to back

Also don't find myself returning to MTI much at all tbh.

OA has long been my favourite of his - so creatively crafted. But this is putting up a damn good fight to take that spot.

This really gets better with every listen. I can't remember the last time I've been so obsessed with an album. Thank you Lil Ugly Mane!

Well I guess I have to preface that I just put all the instrumental projects under the same series. I feel like third side SHOULD be a sequel to the other three sided

Vol 1: steelspittin, can s***me, iron door, Jesus piece, seagrams gin, smokeclears, Brion Gryson, and cut, just bc it has similar ballistic hi-hats to go away from Vol 2. Down-RIP also contains some great ones but I don’t have those “starred” bc they’re a bit more like snacks than meals

I’ll edit Vol 2 in later

Smoke clears and Go Away are probably my favorite two songs from the two albums, but they might not necessarily be the best instrumentals. They’re just the best overall package to me

part of me feels like this album is going to get even more love over the years, the replayability and unique genres/sounds all over this thing seem like it they'll stay fresh. if this came out last year it would've hit even harder

great album songs are super creative and its oddly so relaxing to listen to.
