Im surprised that people believe that Drake stopped using ghostwriters after the Quentin Miller debacle.
He definitely stopped for a short while. If You’re Reading This was the project he got snitched on. After that he did What A Time with Future, Metro and Esco in Atlanta. They were all cooking together in the studio for those 7 days. Thanks to Future, Drake got a bit of credibility back. And Drake didn’t have to go and have someone spark an idea for him, he just rode Futures wave. That’s the only reason Drake worked with Quentin he had a hard time coming up with ideas.
I’ve already played this more than I’ve played SOA since it came out
I’ve been enjoying this more than Like That.
Kendrick is hitting a pocket like no other currently.
I don't think this next round gonna be the final one. They both seem like they wanna go at it for a while
I only want one more song from both
Its gonna start feeling they’re dragging it after that

I have an idea on where this ranks in my all time diss tracks but Ill wait to say it
Akademiks was just streaming and was doing research on some of the bars Kendrick was saying and he started finding articles about lawsuits involving Drake. He then awkwardly ended the stream and the YouTube video is now deleted
Hopefully another YouTube account uploads it

Re listening to push ups literally makes you realise Drake and Kendrick were never on the same level.
Did you just compare Drake to Kobe? Stop, that's offensive.
Which Drake songs helped you through tough times? Which Drake songs represent your community? Kendrick and J.Cole actually represent hiphop/black culture. Drake doesn't represent anything.
It's hard to imagine a grown man crying over Drake, lol. The whole thing sounds ridiculous.
I'd understand if we were talking about teenagers, but not grown adults lol come on.
This take is horrible. You alone can’t gatekeep black culture and say someone doesn’t represent it.

I give him permission to gatekeep all of black culture.

The thing is like how can Drake answer Kenny back because clearly he took it to a whole new level man. That I can't see it going any further
I give him permission to gatekeep all of black culture.
Some of y’all be white talking like this. Post ya hand

I love it but I’ll wait and see where the beef goes
If Drake comes back hard and tops it then it ain’t gonna hit the same

ain’t going to lie this the only thing I’ve been listening to since it dropped
People were calling it mid because a lot of people couldn’t comprehend his lyrics off first listen. This was really a test of comprehension skills through literary works such as music and people deadass failed the exam. It really confirmed what Mos Def said about people looking for easy digestible pop music

He ain’t gonna top it lmao and I hope Kendrick makes a victory lap. Do donuts on this mother f***er

It pops in my car when I go to work and it's just still fire. Kenny really did it.

😂😂😂😂 it’s a great song but really not that deep unless you’re a proper casual
