It gets tricky but generally I think for mixed ppl it’s moreso about black passing complexion because that ultimately determines the treatment they get in life.
Someone of Drake & Cole complexion still getting profiled and side eyed if they went into an all white town in the Deep South. They still can get racially profiled if pulled over by police. Therefore I’d consider them black. That ain’t the case with a Logic tho.
I addressed the point in my last response. The perception of race vs the reality of it. A white man, not anyone, myself included is not gonna be able to largely differentiate a biracial person (specifically white-black combination) from a lightskin black person. That’s why I said parental lineage comes into play.
People wanna start what aboutism with their half white great grandma etc, I don’t care bout that s***. Are both your parents black? Are both their parents black? If the answer is yes to both, then you black.
