album could us more "punch" on the bass side but one thing is for sure "The End" is outro of the year . so grand so reminisce and Thundercat angelic vocals on top of it

  • Thundercat is f***ing FLOATING on THE END

imagine how online dweebs like you first reviewed Discovery in 2001. Probably unfavorably compared to Homework. Guess why, cause it was new.

Yep. Every single negative or underwhelmed review of Hyperdrama is solely because it is new. You cracked the code.

They learned to much about how you are suppose to mix

  • thoroughly enjoyed this but being honest i was always a bigger fan of their live stuff more than their studio records. each album has a gem and i love that they have been consistent on that

their live shows is the ultimate way to enjoy their music, the next best thing is the Access All Arenas live album

    these guys are an experience

Been running this back all week and I’m happy to say this is my favorite album of theirs since Cross I do agree with whoever said the thing about their live works being their real bread and butter, and I can’t wait to hear some of these in a live setting. Hell, I wanna run the Coachella set back (wherever the f*** it is lmao) now that I know the sound they were going for.

I actually love the stretch of slower tunes on this. Midnight Rendez Vous the pads on there are insane. It feels like they finally found a way to bend the more high-polished sound of their later work toward their older more scrappy level of sound design; Explorer is such a fun listen, same with Muscle Memory, in that line of thought.

Saturnine grew on me so hard too Miguel was floating on that one, god damn

  • Got this album in heavy rotation.
