if you're seeing all the injustice, systemic racism etc., today and say to yourself "yeah i was thinking of being an ally, joining the movement etc., but then i was turned off by someones angry tweets" then you were just looking for an excuse to not be a part of it in the first place.
I don’t think s*** is that black and white as you make it. I’m not tryna make it seem like what’s happening in the world is complex because it’s not but there are people who do NOT get it and some of those people ARE worth helping.
