Cole f***ed up by saying he has a “average IQ”. He did this so he can relate to the people that he is saying noname should be trying to reach.

I can see how it makes him sound like he can’t understand what noname is saying. If you ignore that part the point of that song is pretty clear and should not be problematic at all.

as i think about it, it would have been way more impactful to just make a song filled with the information we need instead of chastising people for being condescending about it lmao

Maybe but at the same time this song is about him not knowing exactly what he should be doing to make things better

    “Cole World” thinks

    Talib Kweli
    Mos Def
    Andre 3000

    are irrelevant

this kid must’ve never listened to rap before the warm up

As far as sales go they do not compete at all, Andre hasn't released an album in damn near two decades

Tbh he would have been better with a tweet lol

I've bumped that album for years but mainly for Sunday candy. had no clue cuz the album always had feats uncredited

Oh yeah dude, this album feature Busta Rhymes, B.o.B, King Louie, Quavo (One of my personal favorite verses from him), Big Sean, Kyle, Jeremih, Janelle Monáe, BJ The Chicago Kid, Saba and Erykah Badu.

It just makes me upset to see someone criticizing another person who is also trying to do good.

Like great, you educate people by using a book club and tweeting. Why is that worth something but making music that speaks out about issues isn't? Why go after someone and attack them on twitter because they didn't do it they way "you liked". Thats my issue.

We can go on about this s*** all day fr lol

I see what you saying fasho but I can see it from another perspective as well

At the end of the day I just hope something good comes from this. I’m sure Cole and Noname can hash it out

Personally I think now is a good time to hear black women out bc they never get the opportunity. Social media just so happens to be a tool. If what they talking about on Twitter doesn’t apply to you then niggas shouldn’t be this upset. We just gotta listen and that’s it, especially if we know we need to educate ourselves

"Thank you for constantly complaining on twitter and doing very little to actually find solutions for the problems you constantly speak about"

Damn you really dumb dumb then. Education is literally the first step to moving to a solution. And she's moving with everyone to do so

Shes creating petty issues at the same time as "finding the solution". Basically like picking fights with people on the same team as you.
