Because most rap journalists are clowns drake isn’t taking people like Akademiks no jumper and Joe budden type people are all corny he’d rather just chill with a cute white podcaster and bullshit about life instead and I get why

Maybe he just wants to do fun interviews at this point in his career? He’s been in the public spotlight for going on 2 decades, he’s made pretty much an album a year for 15 years, we know everything we need to know about him personally. I’d much rather see him joke around and laugh.

Not gonna lie, I like the decision to go w/ this pod over the Chicken Shop one. I’ve always enjoyed Drake (and his team) finding and working with folks before they pop.
Having said that, I’m still holding out hope for that Drake/JBP collab
