wish he had the chance to grow old and become a great man fr. ultimately he died as a young guy who made plenty of mistakes but at least he wanted to grow past them.and I love his music but my guy would most likely be sitting in the can if he didn't get killed. X was basically facing life

Idk I feel like he was the voice for the youth. They connected with him even though he was a troubled kid
Maybe that says something about the state of the youth as a whole. Bunch of angry, frustrated young men (and some women) who for whatever reason feel like their back is to the wall constantly, and have to claw their way out no matter who (or what) is standing in their way.
