I’m almost positive that there were rumors going on around the time of Revival that Em had a song rapping from the perspective of either the sandy hook shooter or the Las Vegas shooter.

Eminem kind of bit a pretty famous punchline from a Binary Star song on Premonition.

"Alphabetically I'm comin' after you like the letter V" - OneManArmy, Binary Star's The KGB (1999)

But he did extend it a bit in the setup, so it's cool.

"Only way you’re ahead of me is alphabetically
Cause if you diss me I'm coming after U like the letter V!"

Stepdad has to have one of the worst choruses of all time. I laugh when it comes on, like this mans pushing 50 trying to make songs for 12 year olds lmao.

People gonna dissect the lyrics for months and find something new

I don’t think Dre actually did anything on this lol, he’s only credited on the Alfred Hitchcock interludes

    1) ‘Premonition (Intro)’
Prod. by Dawaun Parker, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Luis Resto & Mark Batson

I legit saw someone on Reddit defend it by saying 'it's not for us (adults) but will resonate will some 12-year-old who is struggling with similar feelings'

like that somehow makes it less corny that a 50-year-old man is trying to resonate with Matty B's demographic.

  • I never thought i would say this about eminem, but this album is too long. Maybe if the beats and hook were better, but album drags. And he should've released it next weekend

    unintentional for sure

He just made an album that was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock I am very sure it was intentional. i watched an interview once Eminem did on Shade 45 and he said their will be easter eggs for years that people will pick up.

Im not defending the album but that hook clearly meant to sound goofy on purpose

I think it was during the MMLP2 thread on KTT1. People said "The Monster" was about Sandy Hook and then everyone was pissed it was a Rihanna track.

Im almost sure the credits are mixed up rn. Dre is gonna be listed as the first producer on his 4 tracks in the booklet. If somebody here had Tidal they could check it out.
I saw on IG that Darkness and Stepdad are listed in the wrong order

pretty sure eminem was mainly referring to the movie V for Vendetta were the protagonist "V" comes after people.
