It's the least fun album I've heard in a while
What I'm saying is that he brings in his friends to the studio and just goes to do his thing. If the man enjoys rapping let him be.

I like it too. Fun track, simplified flow, and I like the nostalgic lyrics. Cool concept
darkness is real nice. like forget about the gun control message its just a sick beat and hook and well written. one of his best songs in the past 5 years IMO

The sound design on that song is really good too, the constant sirens behind gives it a nice touch
To be fair after sitting with this for a while ill say that the second half of the project has some of his the best songs since idk when but then again, the lows are very low and most of the choruses are hot trash and i'm tired of him showing off how fast he can rap when, it rarely sounds good imo. He can actually still flow very nicely on a beat when he wants
Overall its kinda all over the place with its themes and sound... He should have just stick with the horror/thriller vibe and put aside the radio pop s*** but wtv
6/10
Highlights — The Hitchcock bits, Darkness, Yah Yah, Little Engine, Lock it up, Maybe No Regrets and I will.
I could be with anybody, I choose you
Still, it's no excuse to abuse you
the man has a way with words
You know what
Step Dad hook is so bad it’s an ear worm and actually manages to be catchy
Like when I first heard it I was like lol cmon bro this trash. Then I found it stuck in my head

Perfect review
Everytime Eminem releases outta nowhere its like a sucker punch that does no damage.

It gets him out of the house
The beats on this sounds like some early 2010s s*** with some trap elements to sound modern.

Idk, this release got a lot of KTT2 and Ariana Grande fans triggered. Kinda shame that KTT2 and Ariana stans react the same lmao
I'm on Yah Yah rn, and the production on this horrendous, first track thus far I straight want to skip
stepdad sounds exactly like Framed from revival

It is produced by The Alchemist & Framed is produced by Fred wreck . I take it that this album was inspired from Framed. Atleast that portion.

framed was one of the most well received songs on revival. stepdad sounds like a retread of it but its not bad

Woahhhhh explain! The alchemist & Eminem together is a literal collaboration I waited for since I knew they were around each other. Stepdad to me it self is the 2 nd best track next to Little Engine.
