Em just doesn’t sound good on beats anymore, it’s hard to explain but you can’t really catch a vibe to his music I found myself not nodding my head once through all 20 tracks, his rhyme schemes and flows while technically impressive just don’t create a good song or vibe espescially when he double times some schemes for rapping fast sake where it’s unnecessary or when he says words in 2 parts with a pause in between to make it fit a beat it just sounds corny plus his voice is just so monotone and flat to me all his tracks just feel lifeless it just sounds like he’s talking over beats
Not worth checking out then?
Check out the album. Ktt just mad he dropped same day as Mac but this album been anticipated since thanksgiving
He made it in his prime when he was suppose to. Not his fault he was ahead of his time. Anything he made after his overdose was solely for his love of rapping
o ok
Listened through it, it was coo
better than revival and kamikaze, would put it a little under mmlp2.
prod was p decent, some corny lines and weird ass features (why juice wrld? and why only on a hook?) but overall okay
kinda weak to drop same day as mac tho

Let's be real; the majority of this site would take a s*** on this album any day of the year. It just happened to be the day Mac dropped so there might be a little extra s***.
That too at times but his flow is still pretty good at times. It just when he get too choppy because he is trying to stick to a overly complicated rhyme scheme. He probably thinks it looks impressive on paper but it’s not fun to listen to.
The mans voice itself is unlistenable. Howard Stern really broke him when he said he was a wigger who used a blaccent.
Bro, I hate blaccents. I even get mad when black rappers use it like tyler lizzo and doja cat. I still wanna punch that white dude from brockhampton in the throat.
But my nigga. Eminem never in his career used a blaccent.
But he believed howard stern when he said he did, and has made it a point to “sound more natural” aka more white thru out his career. Mans is a walking identity crisis.
I remember I had a friend in college. Asian dude from the burbs. He started hangin out wit me and my niggas. After a while, he jus started to sound like us.
That’s who eminem was. But all it takes is for guys like that to go home and the wrong person to say “why are u talkin like that”
Eminem’s career for about a decade has been him “not tryna talk like that” aka how he really talks because he grew up wit niggas.
Ppl usually end up talking more like their peers than their parents, so I never looked at a white person who talked like a nigga funny if it comes natural to them.
But other white ppl will and they get a lot of anxiety from it.
I'm convinced that everybody around Em hates him and wants this fool to destroy whatever is left of his legacy

Yeah I agree, but this album is what KTT as been asking Him to do. I feel like they’re using Mac as a scapegoat to blindly hate Em

Reminds me of Snow, the guy who made the song informer back in the 90s (recently jipped by daddy yankee and renamed to "con carma" or some s***).
Snow was a Canadian who, because the british empire, grew up around a lot of jamacians, which changed his accent and way of speaking. Of course, when his song got popular (while he was in prison mind you) people just assumed he was some corny white dude copying black music on some Elvis s***, when in reality he just grew up around shottas
cam's new album sounds like a f***in masterpiece compared to this turd
well garbage is worse than trash so sure

Didn't most people on KTT want him to make a more mature project like 4:44?

I want him to stop trying to prove himself and just make music

4:44 was concise and honest
This is neither

What'd they want then, and was it this?
We don't want Em over club bangers
We want Em over Alc/Daringer/Primo beats.. simple as that.. nigga got a song with Young MA (who is dope don't get me wrong) but their styles do not mesh at all
Does this album have a theme??
I saw the album title and cover and saw that it was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, so I assumed it would have some type of thematic sound... but it doesn't seem to really be about anything specific.
This doesn't sound like murder music lol
