Mar 29, 2020·1 replyJodeciJoestarMan I love those two songs but I gotta keep it 100. After 2013 (NWTS) his flow and energy has completely changed. He raps very slow and pauses between each bar A LOT. It’s VERY annoying coming from the same guy that made songs like HYFR, up all night, miss me, etc.
Every time he raps “fast” now with energy it’s only on the trap s***.
Songs like 8 out of 10, Can't take a Joke and especially his Fire in the Booth beg to differ. That Fire in the Booth version without Charlie screaming is miles better than this snippet

I was just on about the narrative that he can't and hasn't rapped like this anymore since 2015 which is just false.
I'm also all for him doing it more often and reducing the amount of slower rap with the gaps inbetween bars. At the same time tracks like Survival are still top tier to me.
