My own opinion (could obviously be wrong) - but I don’t think Kendrick and his camp really thought he had any info about the Whitney stuff and they (Kendricks camp) don’t have anything they’d use.

The ending of the video with the ring probably warning him to try something and he’ll release it, so why would Kendrick go again if actual receipts are put out in the open.

If you look at the grand scheme of things. Kendrick won the opinion of the public. It was actually the perfect storm. With the political climate, the Diddy allegations, the questionable activities of Drake with younger girls, even if harmless, the fact Kendrick is looked at as the rappity rap Jesus and Drake is looked at as the soft popstar. He never really had a fighting chance. Salacious lines won it. The public wanted another SOA
