    Kendrick had an easy run when Drake had to also aim at all those other folks. No rebuttals, just chatty patty s*** with a bop.

    feel like artists with that much of a free pass end up getting abandoned just as quickly by their fan base.

    I don’t think the average listener thinks Drake is done and will never see success again
    (I have seen ppl say that but mainly Kendrick “Stans” aka guys who just hate Drake mo matter what and they’re just backing whatever opposition is up against him atm)

    Take a good hard look at Apr 30th to like may 7th or whenever not like us came out

    Contextually in that date range which was the active portion of the beef
    Drake got his ass kicked

    People been wanting this beef for more than a decade.

    Kendrick rode the wave that Metro and Future (one of the surprising parts of the beef to most people) and gave the haters what they wanted.

    Drake doesn’t need to explicitly say anything about those tracks for an artist like Kendrick to use Drakes name - attached with a chatty patty pedo lines and a mustard beat to beef up his numbers.

    You got Abel, Futures, Metros fanbase all gravitating towards these tracks and even just people who don’t like him, it’s an easy W without even putting the best bars out in the beef.

    Right so we agree both artists are huge and don’t need each others co-sign at this stage in their career

    So that means that the song that went #1 would in turn be the most popular with the people.

    The best bars is comical coming from drake fans who’s whole game is sales and accolades and Drake did this and when xyz didn’t do that

    Kendrick beat Drake at his own game
    It was crazy to see
