For All the Dogs has already surpassed Utopia as the bestselling rap album released in 2023 but that's a massive flop? Just keep quiet when it comes to certain discussions, man.
2023 was also the worst year for rap in like 10 years lol. I'm not really sure how you're disagreeing that FATD was a flop compared to Drake's past projects & that he doesn't make catchy hits anymore.
If Kendrick releases an album anywhere near the level of DAMN/GKMC he'll smoke all of FATD's numbers and be seen as the #1 rapper popularity wise, if you think otherwise you're just being delusional

It doesn't even have to be that. I think his next album will be more commercial and it'll perform better than his last album but I don't see it being a monster smash hit album simply because he just beefed with Drake. Many people who are supporting his music now to spite Drake won't do that with his album.
And he's more than due for a successful commercial album. Drake had the bestselling rap albums in 2015, 2016, 2017 (More Life sold as much as DAMN), 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Kendrick isn't doing any of that.
