• Push Ups leaking (it was clearly not intentional based on Abel’s story)

• Taylor Made as a whole (conceptually I like it, but AI s*** and him basically taunting Kendrick not dropping in retrospect looks horrible)

• Family Matters being the definitive diss he was building up to getting drowned out 15 minutes after dropping (basically the deciding factor as all momentum was killed)

• The Heart Part 6 was like it was just put out to get something out there. I think using that title worked against him and really could’ve let it cook a bit more rather than being reactionary and feeling the need to have to put something out

Agree with you completely missteps all along the way. Not to mention basically foreshadowing very publicly every response is just not a smart strategy and partnering up with clowns like Ak and Kai just idk what his thought process was or if he just truly didn’t think Kendrick would take it there, but just seems like another artist and situation he drastically underestimated

I think drake got out manoeuvred, he went into this thinking he will do a surgical strike - kendrick was more shock and awe.

He seemed genuinely surprised at how many people dissed him on the first metro album, and how much of the industry hates him. I don't think he thought it would be a 20v1 versuing Kendrick, likely caught off guard by that. Also, I don't think i've seen one celebrity take drakes side, no 21/yatchty/lebron etc. not anyone.

I think push ups leaking was damaging, a lot of people thought it was AI, and even so, lot of peoples first listen was on the unfinished/rough track. He started on a bad foot.

I think he underestimated the amount of people in the public that don't like him, and didn't take into account the various fan bases of people he's beefing, will not be objective and take kendricks side.

I think he underestimated kendricks willingness to go full nuclear with twitter verses and tiktok allegations, I don't think even he thought kendrick would make a full song about it, a few bars maybe, but not a song.

I think this entire beef has helped everyones career except for drakes - it also sets a bad precedent for the future, anyone can diss drake/call him a pedo, most people will take their side.

As far as next steps, I don't think he can win the public influence back in this beef, they have all already made up the mind he lost. I don't think drake thought this is how this beef would end at all. Maybe he drops his own summer banger(s) later so he doesn't have to hear not like us everywhere. This is the write up to this point, who knows, he can always drop a scary hours pack with proof and win i suppose.

I think he lost the beef due to these missteps, but had the better songs and is the better artist. I also think the next album will be very inspired, scorpion is my top 3. I think he should re-evaluate his industry friends and other artists in general, as I said, not one person spoke out for him.

Lets clarify the first point, push up was leaked because drizzy got hacked and the hacker got his hands on the unfinished version, thats when he contacted ak and sent him the completed version.

If the Mole being fake, then why do Drake not have any receipts on it?

Seems like a lie. No one is so stupid that they feed their opponent fake information without documenting it, so the only thing they do to this prove it is saying “nahhh… that information came from me, trust me”

I don’t get the argument you’re trying to make honestly. The fact is Kendrick was able to move seamlessly because he has a tight circle that could kept his strategy and responses in house and Drake had a leak to an unfinished song that f***ed up his initial response and was also very publicly foreshadowing all of his moves.
