I only skimmed thru the lq demo leak once but this song managed to leave a mark on my brain so I’m all for this

As far as the other singles go

• Porsche Topless = the definition of mid, I don’t like it at all. Reminds me of some of the bottom tier MOTM 3 cuts where he tries too hard to fit the current popular soundscape

• Heaven’s Galaxy = Absolute banger, Cudi can make this type of track over and over and I would still be hype bc it just fits him so well

• Ill What I Bleed = Still pondering on this one. I like it but it’s nothing crazy either. Visuals enhanced my enjoyment of the single for sure

Heavens galaxy just reminds me of the s*** he was making on entergalactic. I don’t need anymore of that

I agree that Entergalactic was a letdown as a full album (still had some top tier joints tho) but I feel like Heavens Galaxy felt much more grand and cinematic compared to most of Entergalactic

Cudi is making more modern rap s*** now, not his alternative cudi-esq rap style…and there’s nothing wrong with that. I for one have been wanting this kind of music from him for the longest, he doesn’t tarnish his legacy because he wants to make s*** like this tho. Those songs are still awesome but it’s time to stop acting like he’s gotta make a specific style of music every single project or else he’s let everyone down. I feel like us as cudi fans should realize this by now, I didn’t want him to make sb2h but at the same time I recognized it was where he was at artistically atm and there’s no reason to act like he shouldn’t be able to drop what he pleases. He’s given us so much music since 2016, more than enough for all types of his fans to eat and enjoy. Whether you like his alternative rap stuff, his rnb-pop stuff, rock, electronic,psychedelic etc etc. There’s been more than enough to go around for everyone to feel happy, back in the day we wished cudi would release music the way he has in recent years. He’s just doing a bit of everything, which is what he’s always been as an artist.

The song sounds nothing like the majority of songs on entergalactic also that’s his signature sound and it’s timeless.

Exactly, most of entergalactic is melodic and slower tempo love songs. Probably the only song I could compare to heavens galaxy on entergalactic is in love. Which is literally my favorite song from the project lol and I argue easily one of the strongest.
