I had this moment a with Maybe So. Lost my cousin and two of my uncle's in the span of a few years and that song came on while I was driving. I was just thinking about them and a failed relationship that's sort of plagued me a bit since it ended. All of that hit me pretty hard at once while listening to that song. Thankfully it was sunny out and I had sunglasses on 🤣

Some of Cudi's music just hits different. I guess if you can't relate with his subject matter. Don't like the way he makes music I get it. The first time I heard AKNC in 08 and heard Man On The Moon (The Anthem) I felt that in my soul. Later on in the tape with the The Prayer , Heaven At Nite some of the other songs as well. It was really the first time in my life I related to music word for word. Cudi's always been able to do that for me his entire career. On the latest album Tortured really hits me that way. Some people will listen to songs like that and feel nothing tho it's crazy lol
