I like Cudi’s adlibs ngl they’re goofy and a few of them are very catchy

I actually felt like giving us both of those sounds made MOTM 3 feel very disjointed in both execution and sequencing

Which is a bummer bc some of the better tracks on MOTM 3 do deserve to be on an album in the MOTM series but then there’s just a couple songs that don’t belong at all

Cudi said on his live earlier today he’s feeling like he’s in that early 2010 mode of just making fun music. Having a dj host the project fits that vibe and is essentially a callback to that era. Wayne and DJ drama’s gangsta grillz dedication tapes from that era are a staple, also not another coincidence that Wayne is actually on this project.

I can’t stand DJ drops usually but I’m happy to say Drama didn’t annoy me on this one. He’s not on it too much and he’s not yelling as much as he did on Tyler’s album

I’m def enjoying the confident cudi stuff, he’s given us more than enough sad introspective music.. That being said the kids on this site acting like Tyler the creator made the first dj drama hosted project got me feeling old af tho lol.

Half the music you’d download back in the day had dj tags all over it lol.

Sometimes dj tags make bangers even more hype lol, it can be overkill sometimes but if it’s done correctly it’s typically funny and adds that raw and unfiltered aesthetic to the song.
