How it make these guys feel watching a guy move up 15 spots meanwhile these other fellas probably moved up 1 or 2 at best
Honestly I’ve wondered the same thing
Illegal car for sure
No way it’s faster than a McLaren
100% something going on, probably with that rear wing. That top speed is not gained by BHP as you need a LOT more HP to get that speed so it’s deffo aero

That’s why he got dq’d!

What a drive by Lewis.
The GOAT

eh, F1 seems to be pretty unique in that everyone seems to be aware of where they stand in terms of performance and the cars ability. Every team is focused on their own, achievable goals. It's not like other sports where even bottom tier teams are talking about championships. They probably wish they had a car that good but also know that Lewis is on another level.

Nah I doubt it was that causing it, I know prob sound like I’m repeating what I’ve heard but it’s prob what newey went to them about before

So if everyone had the same cars Lewis probably doesn't accomplish anything close to the same result despite being extremely talented or you think he could manage that or close to it on a level playing field

half the grid or more are probably technically good enough to be world champions
but theres probably only like 2 or 1 or 0 at any given time who could/would do it 7 times thats what makes hamilton special imo most would call it a day after one or a couple titles
with that said, if everyone had the same car no he doesnt win 7 times

I personally think it’s less than half, but agree with everything else. Consistency is key, like leclerc is great but he’s just not consistent enough. Hamilton is an excellent driver though no doubt

if we exclude former champions (alonso, kimi, vettel) then yeah its less than half, otherwise imo:
max
lewis
leclerc
sainz
ricciardo
alonso
vettel
russell
kimi
and i probaby wouldnt include these two but ik others would
perez
norris

Yeh solid list! This is why a big part of me wants it to be like nascar (I think?) where all cars are equal and it really is down to the driver to really see who can do what but I understand it’s never happening
I agree. I think there needs to be more incentive though, or something to shake it up a bit. Monza sprint was really dull and todays was relatively tame if you exclude Hamilton and the Ferraris

It's hard to speculate about everyone having the same car because idk if there's a popular spec series that is actually spec. Like F2 is considered "spec" but teams can still make adjustments to the engine and aero set ups, so every one doesn't actually have the same car.
I think if the cars were truly spec, he'd be able to accomplish something similar to what he did today based on pure skill. Probably not 5th, but at least around top 10.
Lewis win tomorrow
Lewis win tomorrow
Wouldn’t be surprise if he’s on podium but I don’t think 1st is likely but who tf knows
Lewis win tomorrow
