There was never anything wrong with the jetpacks. They could’ve executed it a lil better, but it was a nice change of pace. You were probably getting f***ed by agile guys like myself

watch how they scrap the campaign due to covid in order to get it out before black friday
I expect this to be the buggiest and maybe worst cod for years due to troubling development time

WW2? Damn Sledgehammer really shows they are the most unambitious studio when it comes to COD games.

since cod 4 we've got two WW2 games
I’ll get s*** for this but they should go full on sci-fi. Like it starts out as a normal CoD but have extraterrestrial invaders come in during a human conflict. Keep it very realistic. Like as realistic as you can make an alien invasion. Would be neat
Yeah you definitely tryna play resistance bro
since cod 4 we've got two WW2 games
For good reason imo.
The 2000s was so littered with WW2 shooters, that even the History Channel had its own licensed WW2 game on the Xbox 360.
At least with modern settings, you can do original stories, factions, plots if you want to avoid any direct parallel to modern wars like Iraq or Afghanistan.
Not to mention we could have done Korean War, or a British-focused game where the multiplayer is based on a campaign where you're Captain Price's father during the UK Cold War conflicts of the 50s-80s like Malaya, Borneo, Ireland, Oman, etc.

Yea I played that History Channel game, it was ight. But for WW2, there is so much content you can fit in tho. Many ww2 games only focus Americans vs Germans. World at War was good because it dealt with the Japanese and Russians. I hope this WW2 game will focus more on the other factions.
About the Korean War, thats basically WW2 but just set in Korea. Same weapons basically. The Captain Price thing, that would seem better for Infinity Ward, since they're doing that whole story.
Tho ive heard that this WW2 game might be like an alternate history thing, similar to Wolfenstein. But I just read that from a random so its probably not true. But honestly the setting doesn't matter to me. Im a multiplayer player, so just give me a good multiplayer experience.
WW2 again? lol out, not to mention i thought sledgehammer was done with their own CoD installments as treyarch had to take Cold war from them? very confused

The OG COD WW2 trilogy dealt with British, Americans, and Russians as the main factions (Polish in 3 too). Seeing other sides could be interesting or exploring forgotten conflicts during the war like the Anglo-Iran war can be cool. I feel like Vanguard tho will feel just like a "updated" WAW (I heard rumors about Pacific Theater) tho in the same way WW2 is an "updated" COD 1-3. Gotta be more to be interesting to me. An alternate WW2 could be cool tho.
Weapons don't matter to me in terms of a campaign set in Korea tbh. The Korean War is interesting enough to deserve a game. I get the Infinity Ward thing, but Black Ops Cold War had a MW character, so Sledgehammer can incorporate other character's histories (especially since Sledgehammer helped with MW3).
Yeah, setting doesn't matter if you play multiplayer only, but since I think since MW 2019, they've putting story into the multiplayer/War zone right?
