What's up with all these younger people who can't take any form of criticism so all they respond with is "you're old"?

First off do they not believe that they are at some point going to get older and look back thinking "damn, I was wrong".

Second off this is why music has stagnated so much the last few years. Artists don't want to put in any effort and then when they get criticized for it they just dismiss it. Then they fall off because nobody wants to listen to s***ty sounding music.
