Getting tired of the "carti carti carti carti carti" comments on literally everybody music, OBVIOUSLY WE ALL KNOW HE INFLUENCED A LOT OF PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH. THATS HOW MUSIC, ESPECIALLY RAP, WORKS. LETS MOVE ON PLZ AND STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE FOR OLD HEAD UPVOTES

And if you actually cared to listen, you'd hear the differences in how these artists express themselves instead of purposefully aging yourself out of artistic a***ysis/discussion!

    Mr America

How? This is just osamason and Che influenced lmao. This album is a 3/10 at best

Imagine thinking Che biting WLR is Che’s style.

also Osamason is very much average. Nothing crazy Influential about his music. Only similarities between nett & osama is their presets basically being the same.

Always feel like the whole biting WLR thing is such a shallow comparison that comes from nothing but really low effort listening like I get saying oo he sound like WLR when u listen to the first few tracks on rib I don’t get why u conclude to say that in general esp when encore is out now carti doesn’t own a monopoly for rapping over rage beats and yelling about hedonism just cuz he did it on part of an album 6 years ago

Carti doesn’t rap like these these aren’t the flows he’d go for and the beats are way more extreme than what he goes for he’s much more sparse

This the cleanest mixed vocals I’ve heard on this type of rage album do think it’s too long tho and sometimes it sounds like he’s around Osama a bit too much but the peaks r defo there

idk bro i’m 27 y/o i can listen to nettspend more than che. che got the youth, but i feel like most of his music lacks substance/creativity.
example i dont like the song “ce” on this but nett’s genuinely saying some s*** the entire first verse.
che can make mindless bops like miley cyrus & bluberry backwoods and you can care less wtf he talkin about cuz it’s catchy.
although I’m not trying to turn this into a “who has better lyricism/substance” comparison between Che and Nett because that already sounds goofy as is, but if you listen to Nett hes clearly more advanced musically atp. (sonically & lyrically)

Oh ur good faith thank u love u yes that’s a fair point

Fs I get that I feel it’s cuz tho on RiB a lot of it is just lose your mind music I do wish Che would get into his pen again a bit more cuz he has those moments but idk I feel like Che has this thing where his lyrics always sound like he’s saying less then when I go to read them I’m like holon he has bars in here. Like Dior leopard, his melodic songs, some of sayso says Che has lines that stick with me more I have the opposite problem as u. Nett defo do be like talking about his life more that’s fair he has a surprising amount of like actually good lines here lol I do def feel tho that I’m hearing more of a character with Che and with nett it’s more yea this is a guy living the lavish life walking runways this is a “now that I got fame” ass album

Now this just isn't true all of Uzi's projects are great to me other than EA 2

    LIR2
    LUVTW
    Pluto x Baby Pluto
    Pink Tape
    LIR

    all undeniable imo

you should give EA2 another spin honestly, that s*** goessss idc

while i still agree that it’s weaker than any other uzi’s work the tape grew on me heavily, there’s some gems

also real for saying pluto x baby pluto is undeniable, still waiting for that tape to properly get its flowers one day

lol you can say whatever you want about the beats, but acting like what che does now vocally AND flow wise isn't just s*** carti has done in the past both released and unreleased

It’s just not accurate cuz Carti isn’t the only or main guy to yell or do high pitch consonants lol and he almost always is way way slower and sparse that’s what makes Carti’s delivery Carti’s lol is that it’s this slower more abstract sparse adlib heavy style which isn’t what Che does really. Something like on fleek s reminded me of like ZILLAKAMI more than Carti.

Carti has never sounded like what’s love, he’s never rapped like Dior leopard that’s not his thing. He’s inspired by carti sure but cmon lol there’s a very clear distinction that was only less clear for a portion of Rest In Bass

Like this is not a Carti flow in any sense other than the fact he says “boop boop boop” at one point which might make u think of flatbed freestyle.

imma gonna be so real i wasn't really anticipating this really at all, but upon my listen of this so far i'm reminded of why i've taken to nett in the past and why he remains even at his worst a solid artist to me

as someone who's been pretty disillusioned with rage as a subgenre for a while, i can always give my dues to the osama, nett, and che class for kind of being like a "last chopper out of vietnam" situation as far as the b******ization and self-parody that damn near every artist that has gained relevance post-2023 takes part in

i will GLADLY take those three guys doing musical chairs with draco.fm and associates vs. the larp fest that these new guys do lol. nett's subject matter at its most vapid on ELC at least has authenticity.

faux experimentation for the sake of "pushing the genre" will never be worth sacrificing actually being able to make a good listenable song which a lot of these guys cannot do

the only thing i can chalk that is a clear differentiation is maybe the vocal presence in comparison to carti ?

che's vocals are a lot more forward even when the beat is at its most blown out in comparison to some carti stuff

this and paris hilton my early favs

but im fairly certain its not nearly as good as psykotic rib and encore
