I don’t know if it was the weed or what. Did anyone else notice this? S*** felt like a Naruto episode like why are these niggas constantly trying to justify every action they are taking. S*** is feeling a little forced which makes sense because this show probably should have been no longer than 4 seasons really anyway. I’m gonna watch the rest of this s*** sober and see how it feels

El is arrested and taken to Juvie without her guardian even being alerted
Hopper breaks his ankle to get out of chains with no infection / limp a couple days later
Cops aren’t watching Dustin and Lucas while Max is questioned. Then they all escape under the cops’ noses. Then all the adults just stand there while they bike away.
Portal to the upside down at a crime scene that the cops just write off as mold on the ceiling and never think to check it out even though the body was found right beneath it
Steve + crew arrive in the upside down and kill a bunch of bats and Vecna doesn’t sense that they’re there. A couple scenes later they say “this place is like a hive mind, don’t touch the vines” and then ofc Vecna conveniently is aware of them right as they’re escaping
All of this s*** is incredibly dumb and I feel like there’s more to be mentioned along these lines
Only addressing ur point about the portal in the trailer; they moved Eddie's uncle out for a reason lol I'm p sure it's why Owen's tracked down el

BlueDreamRussian storyline the only storyline i really didn't care about this season.
But it all came together well in episode 7, that fighting pit was lit afThey dragged the hell out of that and the Eleven storyline imo, didn't really care for either of them until the end.

I guess I should trust the Duffer Brothers more than myself on this front but I’m kind of worried about them continuing the show after this season is over. This arc just seems like a really perfect way to tie up the whole story and have it come full circle from its origins. I think they’re gonna run the risk of it getting too repetitive, so I hope they can prove me wrong.
