this just plays into that people always want characters they like to be flawless. People like characters not for just for the person that they are at the end of their journey we like them because we witness them maturing.

I suspect they'll do the same with Aang, toning down or completely removing his flaws - thus eliminating vital aspects of his great character-writing.

The OG creators wouldn't bounce off this project without good reason, and I suspect that the misrepresentation of their characters was the central motive.
