Why would they show toph for the first season

It looks as good as can be expected. That being said it’s so CGI-drenched that I can’t help but feel the story is better off…. as a cartoon…

I rly hate that these live action shows feel the need to show the fire lord so soon. A huge part of his character is not knowing wtf dude looked like til hella far into the series. Added a whole level of menace to him for me as a kid

I think this is a prime example of how not having character development for a villain can actually be a good thing in some cases.

Idk if he was ‘trash’ he was just a black and white villain for a kid’s show lol but I remember being HYPED for the day I got to see dude’s face when I was a kid

If they put a good spin on it I’ll be okay with it tbh but I did like the OG fire lord and how they went about his presentation specifically

Why they showing azula and ozai in the first season

American audiences don’t understand introducing characters sequentially

They did the same thing in the Cowboy Bebop adaptation

Forshur. I’ve got no problem with changing things for an adaptation. Just depends if they got the vision.

I really don’t see the need for live action adaptations unless it’s a continuation of the story or a revamp

it looks half decent but really it just made me wanna rewatch og avatar even though I watched it so much when I was little I probably have it memorized line by line

Those are different things to be fair lol aang’s journey leads him to bumi who tells him he needs a diff bending teacher for earth and drops that cool ominous hint/foreshadowing, then we see toph not too much later in the next season

Azula and Ozai are basically apart of the story from the get go even if it’s not explicitly mentioned in s1 of the cartoon
