thats the point tho right this whole documentary is presented as subjective from the start its kanye through the eyes of coodie

how can you really say that. you only see glimpses of his life. his focus on MUSIC is not the same, but how can you say its not when he's still pushing and creating in so many areas. He's focused on HIS vision, which you do not know.

when ye is talking to the realtors in ep 3 its so obvious to me that the guy was going through a manic episode

it’s a crime coodie cut out a lot of the studio sessions, would watch ye produce for hours tbh

the 'eyes of coodie' seemed to be a place of hurt being left behind making the viewers think thats what kanye did to his 'day 1s' when thats not the case objectively

It seems like Time have all the unreleased footage and will be releasing it as clips on their YouTube channel

that made the whole doc more interesting to me theres a whole dynamic of whats actually happening and whats just the perspective of someone that was once close and is now completely disconnected

I think advertising this 100% as a kanye doc was a mistake

When the first teaser released the website had "THIS IS NOT A DOC ABOUT KANYE WEST" plastered all over it and then they dropped that whole angle once the first trailer dropped

havent seen 2 and 3 yet but i think they feel more heartbroken to leave the studio than any of us man

they’re talented and well read, i can tell they really wanted to keep the final cut as tight as possible

Really interesting and mind opening as a Kanye fan

I wonder if anything would ever make me hate Kanye

Acts 1 and 2 are great and interesting and it's nice to see Kanye as a person and his struggle

It almost justifies what he's become as shown in act 3

Act 3 is confusing because some scenes are sweet and others give me second hand embarrassment

I guess that's how I felt about Kanye in general these past few years

I also don't mind the Coodie personal life stuff, I think it's interesting to be told from his view and let videos tell the story

Also I'm happy that Donda was so supportive of him, I'm sure that helped him a lot and they're both similarly strong and have important things to say, even if I don't agree with Kanye sometimes

Personally I feel like some parts in act 3 could've been cut to let that part in
