I love the artwork lol, it reminds me of a Fear and Loathing poster I used to have. But man I love that album. I’ve really enjoyed all of them. Looking forward to finishing up stars n bars but I don’t like to do first listens in my car, I feel like I miss too much. Imma finish it up tmr though hopefully

Damn that’s a great question, and a tough one lol. So far I’d say Rust Never Sleeps, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, On The Beach would be my top 3 maybe. With Zuma, After the Gold Rush and Trans right there behind them. Tonight’s the Night was also really good. Harvest would probably be my least favorite I’ve heard so far, which is funny bc that’s the first one and it got me hooked, still loved it though.

To be fair On The Beach and Tonights The Night etc were really hard to get ahold of, even late into the cd era. Not all the boomers fault they were sleepin.

tonight is indeed more recent because its probably on all the streaming services now whereas even finding a cd used to be hard;

"For about two decades, rarity made a cult out of On the Beach. The title was deleted from vinyl in the early 1980s and was only briefly available on cassette, as well as 8-track cartridge tape. Along with three other mid-period Young albums, it had been withheld from re-release until 2003. The reasons remain murky but there is some evidence that Young himself didn't want the album out on CD, variously citing "fidelity problems" and legal issues. Beginning in 2000, over 5,000 fans signed an online petition calling for the release of the album on CD. It was finally released on CD on Reprise Records in August 2003"

if you cared about dylan youd be at the amount of stuff he casually shelved from all periods of his career. seems like self sabotage when you know what songs he shelved in the 80s compared to what he released on cd
