i say try his album tonight’s the night
“I used to hate it when it came on the radio. I always liked Neil Young, but it bothered me every time I listened to ‘Heart of Gold.’ I think it was up at number one for a long time, and I’d say, ‘Shit, that’s me. If it sounds like me, it should as well be me’,

@vanity try a spin on “everybody knows this is nowhere” when u get a minute!
@cotton_dockers u stan?
I like a few songs but I’ve not done a deep dive. Record I’m most familiar with is probably Zuma.
@Womanpuncher69 @grimes where the radiohead stans
WELL my morning is off to a beautifully depressing start
Thom said take the drums out I need em to hear what Neil said.
this my new favorite thread btw i read all 40 pages i missed from last night. music discussion only
HEY HEY the cripple creek ferry
ALL ALONE THE CAPTAIN STANDS, HASNT HEARD FROM HIS DECK HANDS
nah it’s fine
once you’ll dig on neil you’ll realize how similar thom vocals are to neil!
first album is ok but id suggest you start with everybody knows this is nowhere you’ll dig it
then after the gold rush
you’re gonna like it i think
thom covered the title song after the gold rush too
You need to start insisting people start with Buffalo Springfield
this is still one of Neil's hardest

And this still one of his most beautiful

And this still his most opulent

give me some names it might just well be my next thread
bee thinking of black sabbath but not sure if it will be relevant content for ktt
but then look how ny went whew
The goat band of the 70s and the father's of entire genre? (more or less) They could have a thread
There’s actually a decent amount of Sabbath fans on here, pretty cool
But that’s a good question. Outside of bands like Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, etc, I’d say a big chunk of artists/bands from 60s/70s, I know like a bunch of songs but just never really dug into albums.
Man doesn't respect the Roxy/Eno legacy unfortunately
Album is gorgeous
This one my favorite on first listen
On The Beach should be next if you haven't heard it. you'll probably love this one
