power pop as we know and sell it today - how you categorize it and lets say put a playlist of it, would be off of how power pop was executed in the mid to late 70s not before, therefor why im hehhhh on big star, they’re more of laying the ground for it

disagree the only 11 is smile there is no album in history of mankind and any culture of any dead or living human being or countries or generations or even prehistoric time that comes close to it even THE GREATEST recorded piece of art YOU CAN THINK OF touches AT VERY MAXIMUM BEST the toes of what smile is

its all spruzzed out bottom with that crazy bass and you can barely hear the lead guitar. not very chuck sounding. lyric wise yes its like a clever little chuck parable.
