OOO YEA you the one who brought up living with war!!

Oh def not, if you’re not into her I wouldn’t start there. I have some feelings abt it and they’re not very good. Mostly in relation to production and approach cus her songwriting is still great
Have you ever heard Ultraviolence? I’m not sure if you’d love every song but it’s mostly prod by Dan Auerbach from Black Keys, who I know ppl have varying opinions on LOL but I think his production elevated her songwriting so much and gave so much life and personality to her sound. It worked really well and it’s still her strongest and most interesting

Ithaka? More like it a king. Am I right people !
has anybody mentioned the fact that Neil was heard but not seen at Woodstock? the cameramen were getting up in his zone when he was jamming so he threatened to bash one of them with his guitar so they did a stalanist revision of Crosby, Still, Nash and ? in the editing room for the film

i heard some of ultraviolence bc of some b****es i f***ed but never like sit and listened to the whole thing
lowkey hate black keys tho that’s cool didn’t know he produced
id give it a shot it’s just i never got inspired bc im really not into just doing slow ballads piano stuff - ironic bc i shared philadelphia with you just now but that’s a song that is an expectation in his overall catalogue

Lmfao why did I have a specific feeling you wouldn’t like them. I get it though, but his production on there isn’t like their stuff and is tailored to her aesthetic and style. A huge reason I like it is cus it strays away from the piano ballad s*** that she eventually would use as her current sound’s base in favor of guitars and has way more character and life to it. And I think it fits her songwriting style way way better

!https://youtu.be/yIGzbfwzoKUyeah this album was cool
It's been many years, will try again soonish
After Jimi Hendrix and then Bob Marley I had a Stevie phase but my love for him was on another level
I was obsessed with his live performances when I discovered him, at the time there wasn't a clip of him on YouTube that I hadn't seen 💀
When I finally heard his albums many years later I already knew most of the songs just off that
