Got to listen to this album today. It’s an amazing album IMO, such a shame that it’s not widely available.
It sounded to me like a more abstract, experimental and less refined version of Yeezus. A bit similar to his Dec. 99th project, but stronger and more interesting than it.
If I could describe it, I’d say that this album is rooted in the connection between early hip hop and electro, but takes the combination of both to the far future; everything in it is so cinematic and grand, but also “simple” sounding on the other hand.
This album really needs some huge speakers, the bass is crazy all over it. Sadly, the headphones probably don’t reveal it in al its glory.
As for the installation built for the album, there’s a montage of videos in the gallery showing religious scenes, space videos and everything in between, and it fit the experience so well.

yo thank you for sharing
I've seen a lot of indifferent takes for the album so I love to see some more enthusiasm for this. It does sound really interesting conceptually to go alll the way back to hip-hop's electro roots. U got me hyped again I really hope this installation makes it to London or Germany eventually
Went back today to listen again haha. Both times I was the only one there, had a private listening session lol
This time I took detailed notes (went in with a notebook lol), will post them when I’ll get back home in a few days
