BigSkinnyThey started their third string qb in thatās game. Thatās another problem with valuing loses so highly in the early part of the season. You lose the context of the season. No single team is the same as they were in sept. There needs to be recognition of that and a degree of lessening influence.
A loss against a team thatās in the top 5 in the country is not some death knell like people propagate. Especially when you go undefeated and improve on the field since then. Why does the Auburn game always get brought up when just last week FSU struggled against a worse Florida team?
Because FSU decidedly beat Florida while Alabama literally canāt beat Auburn unless they get a miracle lol. FSU shouldnāt also have to play the worst loss game asā¦theyāre undefeated andā¦Alabama is not

Really good point. If youāre a perennial elite that usually is hovering around 10 wins with it being closer to 11, the last two weeks of the season really wonāt have that much impact.
