No undefeated P5 champion has ever been left out, so as long as FSU wins out they're in. No one loss P5 champion has ever been left out for a one loss non-P5 champion so the losers of Alabama/Georgia and Ohio State/Michigan will be out unless the Pac 12 and Big 12 champions both somehow finish with 2 losses.

It's not looking good for Texas at this point as they do appear to be the weakest prospective champ. They'd likely get in over FSU if FSU lost, but as of right now they're the odd team out

Colorado got absolutely pummeled to end the season and has a Big 12 schedule next year. I'm not sure this is a "fix our lines and we're golden" issue

Deion could potentially be doing Shedeur a massive disservice by making him stay. It's looking like Colorado is in for a multi-year rebuild, which means that they likely won't be much better next year than they were this year. What's the benefit of Shedeur staying another year, besides there not being a Caleb Williams or Drake Maye in next year's class? It's not like he's being talked about as the #1 guy if they didn't exist. It seems to me like most of his hype has died down as Colorado's season has fallen off

I just wonder where Deion goes from here. Their recruiting class (so far) is pedestrian, and we know he's going to be doing a lot of work in the portal but I'm not convinced that next year is the year they put it all together. I think they're still a few years away
