I think when you reshuffle the cards as many times as Penn St has without any real change, you go down two paths

Either the Michigan pre 2021 path with Harbaugh, where the coaching chops and the few moments of real success make you have faith in the process OR

the path where you know you’re kinda a not elite program and just really good is the standard that your fans should accept, but probably don’t
