Don't care for Dabo or Clemson, but I do feel pretty bad for those kids. 4 hours into their season they saw their ceiling go from National Champions to NY6 participants barring a complete collapse from nearly every other top 10 team

Even if Clemson wins out, the likelihood that any other playoff contender has a loss as damning as 21 points to Duke is very slim. And if Clemson is really the team we saw tonight, they have absolutely no chance of winning out anyway and could realistically end the season with 4 or 5 losses

This team plays FSU in 18 short days; it doesn't feel like Dabo is quite on the hot seat yet but their performance in that game could be very telling for his future at Clemson

Cade Klubnik is also definitely not it. He was a breath of fresh air filling in for the lethargic Uiagalelei, but it's clear he's not as talented as everyone thought he was. Very poor decision maker and the arm looks below average - not exactly a recipe for success. Of course it doesn't help that Clemson's play calling is as uninspiring and vanilla as it gets and their skill position players are a far cry from what they've had over the past decade, but Klubnik doesn't appear to be the type of guy who can overcome a situation like this and elevate those around him

he’s a dog s*** midget lol. never had any trust in him although first game jitters on road against a resurgent duke team and a new OC, MAYBE he’ll be able to turn it around. as for our season, i don’t think it’s over if we win out. also depends on how duke plays rest of season. but yea winning against FSU seems like a long shot now albeit anything is possible at home.

funny too i had someone ask me yesterday before the game jokingly if dabo was on the hot seat and said yes, slightly as a joke slightly not. it would take an entire blow up season to officially put him on the hot seat in clemson but we very well can get that this year
