stop d***riding bro
Man as much of a great story as TCU is, all this game did was highlight the talent disparity between a CFB powerhouse like Georgia and a feel-good team like TCU
I have more of an appreciation for college basketball than I do college football because even a Duke or a Kentucky or a Kansas doesn't have that much more talent than any given mid-major. Like sure, Duke may have 2 NBA players on their team, but what if they both have off nights? The gap in talent between the rest of the roster and a mid-major really isn't all that wide.
Just a completely different story in college football. I think Georgia could have sat every starter on their team and still won this game by 30. TCU didn't have 5 star or even 4 star prospects sitting on their bench. Georgia probably has more 4 and 5 star guys committed in their 2023 class than TCU has on the field, in its 2022 class, and in its 2023 classes combined
It's just so ridiculously hard for a football team with 3, 4, or even 5 NFL players to compete with a team that probably has 30 or more on it. Georgia is just on a completely different playing field

we gig'em
There’s still time for a comeback
there it is. 4/4. GOAT

I mean it becomes the same story in March Madness too though, the cinderella falls apart after awhile. and TCU did have their big win over an undefeated Michigan. it's just nobody rates them like Georgia.

The cinderella does fall apart at some point but they often look pretty competitive while doing it
my god this guy is cringe, look what you've done @TCU, @OSU
I don't understand the logic behind putting teams that didn't make the playoff ahead of teams that lost in the playoff
Also how is Michigan ahead of Ohio State when Michigan lost to the team that just got demolished in an all-time fashion and Ohio State lost to the team doing the demolishing by 1 point

he no doubt thinks Bama > UT and OSU > Mich but isn't putting them ahead because they both lost head to head.
CFB racing ahead to engage the big dogs and leaving the little guy behind
Seems like the death of a sport that the sport deserves
